Educational Seminar About Flooding in Town at Library on May 23

The town of Tewksbury, partnered with the Merrimack River Watershed Council and a local engineering firm, Weston and Sampson, has made significant progress on a town-wide study of flooding issues and potential solutions and will be sharing findings at an upcoming public meeting.

The town will be sharing findings of the survey, the flood modeling and potential solutions at an upcoming public meeting to be held at the Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) on May 23rd 6-7 pm. The meeting will also be live streamed on the town’s YouTube page:

The town asks residents to attend the meeting to learn how your opinions are guiding the development of solutions, what green infrastructure is and how it can be used to mitigate flooding.
