Library To Host All-Ages Summer Reading Kickoff Party At Livingston Park On Friday, June 24

Summer Reading Kickoff

The Tewksbury Public Library is holding its First Annual Summer Reading Kickoff Party this Friday, June 24, 2022, from 3pm to 7pm, at Livingston Street Park (288 Livingston St.).

This fun-filled event will feature a concert for families with Mary Beth Maes from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, and a concert for adults with the White Street Band, from 5:30pm to 7pm. The White Street Band offers an energetic blend of classic rock and blues that will get you up and dancing. The band plays a varied set list ranging from classic rock legends such as the Kinks, Rolling Stones, & Lou Reed to driving blues makers Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton & J. Geils.

The event will also feature two food trucks, including “What The Fork,” a favorite of customers of the Tewksbury Community Market. Food trucks will be on site from 4pm to 7pm, so grab dinner while at the kickoff. Cash and debit/credit accepted.

Children and teens can have fun at the dunk tank, and crafts will be available for kids.

This event also provides the perfect opportunity to sign up for the library’s Summer Reading program. Library staff will be on hand to assist any child, teen or adult in registering.
