Board of Health

Our mission is to foster a healthy and safe environment for the residents of Tewksbury by building strong connections with schools, businesses and the community. We are dedicated to educating and empowering all sectors of the town to work together, promoting wellness and ensuring the well being of our residents.

The Board of Health focuses on policy development, regulation, and community health priorities, including:

  • Adopting public health regulations
  • Holding hearings on matters such as variances, appeals, and public health nuisances
  • Addressing issues of public concern, such as air quality, environmental health, and community wellness.

We encourage residents to contact the Board for matters requiring our attention, such as policy concerns, or feedback on community health initiatives. We value your input and are committed to serving the health and safety of Tewksbury residents.
