Volunteer Opportunities

VOLUNTEERS are needed for the MEMA Training on March 30th at 1PM.  We will be in the craft room for training.  The following is a brief explanation of what the MEMA Training if for:

Support plans for schools and daycares located within the ten-mile emergency-planning zone for Seabrook Station have been developed and are reviewed annually.

The purpose of this support plan is to provide guidance for the activation and operation of the Host School Facilities at the Tewksbury Memorial High and Wynn Middle Schools.  These school buildings will typically serve as host facilities for school and day care students who reside in Merrimac and West Newbury, Massachusetts.  Support operations will be managed and carried out by volunteer staff.  Volunteers would assist school staff with the reunification of school children with their parents or guardians.

If you would like to volunteer for this training please see Jan Conole.

We are alwaysl accepting applications for a variety of volunteer opportunities at the Senior Center.  Please stop in and see Jan to obtain an application or you may download an application here:
